NovAtel GNSS Engines Novatel has introduced its next generation of GNSS receivers. The OEMV family of receivers supports modernized GPS signals and frequencies (L2C & L5). In addition, Russian GLONASS satellite tracking and the new AdVance RTK engine are available options. Novatel engines feature ease of integration with low power consumption and comprehensive message suites for configuration and data logging. The OEMV family was designed as a drop in replacement for the OEM4 engines. The SuperStar II is a cost effective engine with carrier phase tracking. Besides offering board level solutions, the Novatel engines can be housed in a variety of rugged, compact enclosures. These include the ProPak-V3 and DLV-3. Product Guide/Datasheet |

NovAtel SPAN—GNSS Augmentation SPAN (Synchronized Position Attitude Navigation) Technology combines GPS and inertial technology. This provides highly accurate position and attitude measurements at rates up to 200Hz. However, the most valuable benefit may be the improved solution availability in challenging conditions where GPS alone is less reliable. SPAN is special firmware added to certain Novatel dual frequency receivers. SPAN is compatible with IMU's from Honeywell, Litton and iMAR. |
